Abstract: The main objective of this research paper is to acquire an efficient understanding of organizational culture. The members, belonging to all job positions in the organisation’s hierarchy, are required to be well-informed in terms of techniques, which would lead to the enhancement of organisational culture. The upgradation of organisational culture is regarded as of utmost significance in promoting the well-being and goodwill of human resources and the overall organisation. All members are required to put into practice their tasks and activities by the norms, values, standards, and principles. Furthermore, they are necessary to inculcate the traits of morality, ethics, diligence and conscientiousness. These are essential for performing well in one’s job duties, achieving desired goals and objectives, and meeting the expectations of individuals in leadership positions. Furthermore, all members are required to be well-informed about the factors that they need to exhibit to display traits of helpfulness and cooperation. Additionally, one needs to possess an approachable nature and an amiable demeanour. Within all types of employment settings, organisational culture facilitates the formation of cordial and amiable relationships among employees. In this manner, one will obtain help and assistance available from others in carrying out all types of tasks and activities in a well-ordered and satisfactory manner. Therefore, it is well understood that enhancing organisational culture is vital in leading to the progression of human resources and organisations. The main concepts considered in this research paper are understanding the meaning and significance of organisational culture, measures to be implemented for enhancing organisational culture, and the advantages of promoting the enhancement of organisational culture.

Abstract: The individuals, belonging to all job positions in all types of organizations are utilizing different kinds of pioneering methods and materials in the implementation of their tasks and activities. Furthermore, one needs to engage in regular practice and appropriately utilise these. When these are utilised effectively, one can perform their job duties well and achieve the desired outcomes. Furthermore, one will render a significant contribution in meeting the expectations of individuals in leadership positions. Individuals need to engage in regular practice and utilise these effectively. Individuals in all job positions need to utilise these in a well-ordered and satisfactory manner. Furthermore, individuals need to ensure that they reinforce the traits of morality, ethics, diligence, and conscientiousness. These facilitate the acquisition of an efficient understanding of all the methods and materials. Furthermore, these need to be implemented in a well-ordered and disciplined manner. One of the significant benefits is that all members can lead to an increase in motivation and enthusiasm levels towards tasks and activities. Therefore, it is well understood that utilising pioneering methods and materials is vital in leading to a rise in productivity and profitability. The main concepts considered in this research paper are understanding the meaning and significance of pioneering methods and materials, measures to be implemented for promoting the enhancement of pioneering methods and materials, and the advantages of utilising pioneering methods and materials.

Environmental Issues and Strategic Communication Planning for Tadlac Ecotourism Project, Los Banos, Laguna, Philippines

Abstract: Tadlac Lake, Los Baños, Laguna, has been visited by a lot of visitors recently. With the increase in the number of visitors, environmental issues confront the integrity of the Tadlac Lake Ecotourism Project (TLEP). The study was conducted to address these issues using a proper communication strategy since the master plan lacks a communication component by identifying the key elements and their communication need and resources. A descriptive method using a case study was used to answer the research problem and objectives. Focus Group Discussions and Key Informant Interviews were used for gathering data wherein representatives of different stakeholders were categorized into three namely: government agencies, civil society groups, and private business served as the respondents of the study. Based on the findings, environmental issues in TLEP affect the land, water, waste, biodiversity and environmental pollution. Further, stakeholders indicated that they want to know about ecotourism, benefits and drawbacks and the projects of the government related to it. The information sources preferred by the stakeholders are barangay consultations, brochures, flyers, and leaflets, while the most accessible way for information sharing is face-to-face interaction. A communication strategy with key elements was also proposed based on all the results of this study.

From Nehru to Modi: Understanding the History of Indian Television Through a Post-Development Lens

Abstract: Digital India, the government’s flagship programme, at first glance, is a radical departure from the past and a welcome step forward to digitise the country’s faltering infrastructure. However, as this chapter argues, seen through a post-development lens, the launch of Digital India can also be seen as a continuation of past governmental policies that hark back to the era of India’s first Prime Minister and the continuation of such programmes thereafter. These policies used the medium of mass media ostensibly as a tool for development but ultimately as a mechanism of control. From the beginnings of television history in India to its growth, this chapter demonstrates that the policies of the present government have their roots in the past, and development remains the rhetoric used to manage the country’s increasing population.

Abstract: Advertising is one of the most basic forms of communication through the media. Persuasion is one of the primary purposes of advertising. Customers are persuaded to buy products through advertising that employs various persuasive techniques. Both men and women increasingly rely on beauty products to enhance their appearance and attract potential partners. Advertisements use rhetorical devices to persuade their viewers. Advertisements use language to achieve the purpose of persuasion. This paper analyzes advertising language considering Aristotle’s rhetorical theory. The three primary persuasive means are logos (logical appeal), pathos (emotional appeal), and ethos (ethical appeal). We examined thesethree methods in this paper in terms of how they are used to persuade consumers and how they perceive them. To determine how Pakistani media utilises Aristotle’s three means of persuasion in television advertisements, researchers studied beauty advertisements in Pakistani media over a three-month period. There is a significant emphasis on persuasion in Pakistani advertising. Although Aristotle’s rhetoric theory was presented over 2,000 years ago, it remains highly effective in persuasion today.
